Our Partners
Partners and Governance
MPSI is built on partnership. The challenges at the intersection of media, peace, and security are too complex and too consequential for any single organisation to address alone. Our work is made possible — and made credible — by the institutions and individuals who bring their expertise, mandates, and networks to this shared mission.
Founding Partners
Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC)
Institutional anchor
Visit KAIPTC’s WebsiteKAIPTC is one of Africa’s foremost centres of excellence for peace and security training, education, and research. Based in Accra, Ghana, and recognised by ECOWAS and the African Union, KAIPTC trains military, police, and civilian personnel from across the continent and produces policy-relevant research on peace and security issues. KAIPTC’s mandate within the African Peace and Security Architecture (APSA) provides MPSI with institutional credibility, continental reach, and a direct connection to the frameworks that govern Africa’s conflict prevention ecosystem.
KAIPTC serves as the institutional anchor of MPSI — providing the training campus, faculty resources, research capacity, and AU/ECOWAS recognition that distinguishes this initiative from comparable programmes across the continent.
Founding Partners
KCC Advisory
Founding convenor & implementing partner
Visit KCC’s WebsiteKCC Advisory partners with governments, development institutions, corporations, and civil society organizations to shape credible narratives, strengthen stakeholder relationships, influence public policy, and advance sustainable development across Africa. KCC is the founding convenor of The Dialogue Series — having designed and delivered both the 2020 and 2024 editions — and serves as MPSI’s implementing partner, leading programme design, coordination, and delivery.
KCC is led by Ms. Princess Sekyere Bih, a 2015 Fellow of the U.S. State Department’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), whose research at KAIPTC on the role of media in conflict resolution gave rise to MPSI.
